FIRST GRADE TEACHER
Emily Dokken
Emily is so excited to join CBEA as a first-grade teacher! She is originally from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Mercer University with a triple major in Sociology, Women and Gender Studies, and Religion. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to work as a teacher. During this time, she earned a Master of Education in International Teaching. This is her first year back in the States, and she is thrilled to join such a diverse and upbeat community. When she is not at work, you can catch Emily reading a book at a coffee shop or snacking on some vegan food!
