SCHOOL NURSE

This is my first year at Clara Brown, although I have been working as a nurse in the Aurora Public Schools since 2016. I am a longtime resident of Aurora, and my four children attended Rangeview High School. My husband and I like to ride our ebikes, and recently got an inflatable kayak, which we have enjoyed using on the Aurora Reservoir and at Grand Lake. My approach to my role as School Nurse is to have ongoing collaboration with staff and families to remove barriers to a student’s education. All in all, I hope to make an intentional effort toward cultural humility, working toward consensus with students, their families, and staff to achieve educational and health goals.
