2ND GRADE TEACHER
Hallie Kauffman
Hallie has the pleasure of joining the Clara Brown staff for another year as a 2nd-grade teacher. She previously taught for four years in 2nd and 1st grade in South Carolina. Hallie is originally from Ohio, where she attended Ohio State University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She also has her Master’s degree in Literacy, focusing on English to Speakers of Other Languages from Clemson University. She is excited to continue to use the knowledge gained from this program in her work with multilingual students. Outside the classroom, Hallie enjoys spending time with her dog, Finn, and her husband, Drew, who teaches middle school math. In her free time, Hallie likes to watch sports, read fiction, go on walks, and visit zoos
