Taylor Atlas
Taylor is so incredibly excited to move into the Teaching Partner role here at CBEA after teaching 4th grade for the past two years. Taylor was born just outside of Chicago, but moved to Colorado in middle school and loves calling it home. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a degree in Elementary Education in 2019 and is now entering her seventh year in education, all in APS. After teaching 4th grade for six years, she is taking her next step in her career to be our school’s instructional coach, where she is excited to engage as a learner, leader and thought partner alongside our wonderful teachers. Taylor believes in making education relatable, engaging and critical eacher, she believes deeply that all students deserve to be challenged, engaged, and affirmed through their education, and she loves watching her students get excited about what they are learning! Taylor strongly believes in the idea of a community and loves having open dialogue within the classroom and school community. Outside of the classroom, Taylor enjoys spending time with her dog, Duke, and reading with her book club, competing in Crossfit and solving ALL the jigsaw puzzles.
