Candace Lewis
Candace is excited to join the CBEA team as a first grade teacher. She is a Colorado Native. Candace holds a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master's Degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education From Regis University. Candace will be entering her tenth year of teaching; nine of them with Aurora Public Schools. Candace is passionate about building relationships with students, creating a positive learning environment, and student success. She prides herself on being an avid advocate for equity in education. Candace is a mother of a 17 year old daughter. When she is not working Candace enjoys spending time with family, going to her daughters volleyball games, reading, crafting, and listening to old school hip-hop and Rand B.
