FIRST GRADE TEACHER
Emily Dokken
Hi there! My name is Emily Dokken. I studied at Mercer University, where I triple-majored in Sociology, Women and Gender Studies, and Religion. After graduation, I moved to Thailand to begin my teaching journey and pursue my Master’s of Education in International Teaching. I love helping young learners grow into confident, kind, and curious individuals—both in and out of the classroom. This will be my eighth year of teaching and my second year at Clara Brown, and I’m so grateful to continue this adventure with such an amazing group. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring new cultures, reading at coffee shops, and trying out new vegan recipes. I can’t wait to meet all of you and kick off a fantastic school year together!
